Horonorable sirrah,
I have several questions related to your ongoing endeavors.
Question the FIRST: How do you feel about HEXAGONS?
Question the SECOND: How do you feel HEXAGONS have impacted your operations, and how do you feel you can use hexagons to your advantage in the future?
Question the THIRD: What shapes—or other geometrical objects—besides HEXAGONS have been important to you in the execution of this project?
Thank you kindly for your prompt and appropriate attention to these matters. FTVW.
FIRST QUESTION: Well, I
FIRST QUESTION: Well, I assure you that I am, indeed a fan of HEXAGONS, and would love to, in some way, incorporate hexagonal architecture in our project.
SECOND: THIS IS TWO QUESTIONS, NOT ONE. HEXAGONS are everywhere you look. They are all around you. It is very difficult to not be swayed by hexagons. Other shapes are around a lot too, but they are not hexagons.
Hexagonal layouts clearly work. You can install them modularly by the wedge, so that before you even have a complete hexagonal structure, you can have functioning, usable wedges. Hexagonal shaped tents also seem to have excellent resistance to the high winds of the Chihuahuan desert. Hexagons will come in handy in other ways, as well.
3: I believe the circle to have been pivotal to the project. The wheels of my truck, in fact any wheel at all, is based on the circle. Without these wheels, it would only be through great adversity that I would have been able to travel thousands of miles across this vast nation. Wedge

The hexagons-in-science-fiction thing is a recurring topic of interest to me. The prominence of hexagons in "futuristic" fictional settings is I believe symptomatic of our deep-rooted desire for a hexagonally conscious future. The visionary artists of the 20th century foresaw our hexagonal future quite clearly, though rarely explicitly identifying it as such. It is now up to us, as the inheritors of their esteemd legacy, to reify their hexagonal vision, and bring it unto fruition.
When you are putting some sort of fancy automatic door in a spaceship, do you use a pentagonal door? an octagonal door? No of course not—you use a hexagonal door, as it should be. Likewise with "futuristic" architecture in general. And have you ever seen a Klingon or Cardassian ship with square buttons? Or again pentagonal ones? OF COURSE YOU HAVE NOT. Only hexagons and triangles are both "exotic" and "alien" enough for this purpose—while also being both self-evidently functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Indeed, I foresee in the not to distant future some sort of HEXAGONAL SINGULARITY in our science fiction, when EVERYTHING will be hexagonal ALL THE TIME, until ENTIRE WORKS OF SCIENCE FICTION WILL BE MADE THAT CONSIST ONLY OF ONE GIANT HEXAGON. Think about it.

THE T SHIRT CAME IN. It looks to be of fairly high quality. I am not actually sure I want to wear it, like in public or anything, but I do enjoy collecting hexagon-related garments.
